Christmas Cards Time!

Jeremy was looking for a gift to give his grandmother and his mom. He decided, what better gift than an image of his handsome self? hahaha. I had a hard time with this one because he wanted something that would be suitable for his mom yet true to his style. We went to Old Sac today where is was cold and foggy. Here's some of my favorites:








I went to Stockton on Saturday to have a short session with my H.S friend Kim and her brother. The photo is going to be a Christmas gift for their mom. The cat was not very cooperative.


Last week Lorraine found me on Davis Wiki and contacted me about getting photos done of her and her sister for their mom. We went to the Arburedum at 8am when it was getting ready to rain!!! It was a fun session dispite my bad lighting situation. I had to do a lot of post processing and retouching to help out with the gloomy day.

This photoshoot was from about a week ago with April from St. Francis H.S. She came over to Davis to have this shoot with me. I took her to a couple of places, including some of my favorite locations in the UC Davis campus! These are the photos that April choose to be printed out. Ahhh. It's that time of year again, back to school! Which means, senior portraits season. I'm slowly getting settled in as more and more seniors are making their appointments with me.
Your senior year may be busy and stressful with all those collage apps to fill, SAT to pass, and dealing with highschool social life! But it's also time to take your senior portraits so that you and your family can cherish it forever. Most senior tend to put it off, because they feel overwhelmed with senior year. I recommend that you make your appointments early so that we can have your photo shoot and let me take care of the rest!

This is a session with my very own 'Nana'. My sister who is a senior at Edison H.S. It was a HOT day in Stockton as we went running around the VanBuskurt Park getting some great shots. I think they turned out great!

Senior Portraits

My first official post! Thanks for visiting! So, for the past few months, I've been trying to figure out want I want my concentration to be in photography. Although I will continue to explore the different mediums of photography, I've decided to concentrate on high school senior portraits. I believe that my age and dynamic personality will contribute to a successful business working with high school students. So here goes nothing! I'll try to update this blog as often as I can, so please drop by often to see what I've been up to.
